Hey Beauty's!
I've been on the last week of my Brazilian Keratin Treatment, so I figured I would finally try out Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. Although- it is sulfate free, so even if I wasn't at the end of my treatment, I don't think it would have harmed it, which is good to know! Now I have been pretty impressed with their products thus far- my Mom has their Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray and she loves it. But, I do have a comfort zone when it comes to my hair- I tend to stick with blowouts and straighter styles, if not a messy bun. So this was a bit different for me! I washed with the shampoo and then after massaging in the conditioner, I used a wide toothed comb to make sure that it was evenly distributed from root to tip on every strand- the bottle does say massage throughout hair AND scalp- which usually insn't the case. Most conditioners say to apply mid hair shaft down to tips. I left it in for four minutes and rinsed. When I got out of the shower I towel dryed added a bit of my own serum and blow dryed. My hair came out amazing! Definite beach waves accomplished! So in the end, I'm glad I left my comfort zone of straight/blowout styled hair. It was a really nice change up! Plus my hair smelled amazing! My hair was definitely moisturized- it was soft and I didn't have frizz, which I was nervous about with this being a more wavy style. Gorge hair with one use of Shampoo and Conditioner- who woulda thought!?!
Have you tried out a beach waves style? I wanna hear about it! Comment below!
