Hey Beauty's!
Today I wanted to write about a product that has saved face- like literally, and tons of them! At home facial peels! Now, facial peels come in a variety of beta and hydroxy acids and numerous brands have there own versions. Some are combinations of acids, some are just one particular acid. When I first started looking into at home facial peels I was thoroughly confused but highly intrigued! They have a tremendous amount of benefits like shrinking your pores and removing dead skin cells- which in turn makes your skin absorb vitamins and anti-aging serums and moisturizers better. It helps uneven and dull skin glow again and also helps to calm acne prone skin. There are different types of acids for different skin care needs- for instance, for oily and acne prone skin, a salicylic acid peel works wonders! Or for dryer skin, you could try a glycolic acid peel. But, I believe the best results come from peels that have multiple alpha hydroxy and beta acids- you get multiple benefits combined and see a bigger difference in your skin! My skin is oily in the t-zone, but normal in the cheeks, so I first used a peel that contains salicylic acid and I noticed the change in my skin right away. I am now getting more results from my skin care routine than ever! It really makes my other skin care products work better because my skin is absorbing more. I finally have that fresh faced glow that I've always wanted! There are some really great brands out there offering at home facial peels these days. Dr. Dennis Gross is famous for his amazing peels- I've also heard great things about Philosophy's The Microdelivery Triple Acid Brightening Peel which are already on pre-moistened wipes, so you don't need to worry about measuring out the peel yourself. Also, Perfect Image makes a variety of at home facial peel options which is my personal favorite. Which ever you try, make sure they are for at home use, and use them according to the directions. I hope you love your results!
How do you feel about at home facial peels? Do you use them? Do you not like them? I wanna hear about your experiences! Let me know in the comments!
