Hey Beauty's! Today I want to talk about a lip product that has completely changed my lips into the ones I had envisioned every time I purchased a new lip balm. It is Chapstick's new-ish Dual-Ended Hydration Lock in Day and Night. I use lip balms constantly throughout the day and then also before I go to bed at night, which is a must for me. It's just a staple in my beauty routine- but, I have yet to use a lip balm that has a lasting effect or changes the health of my lips while not wearing it. They feel great on, but what about when your not wearing them? I wanted something that would actually nourish my lips. So, I'm super excited to say that I have found that Chapstick's Dual Ended Day and Night changed all that for me! The night-time formula is absolutely amazing! It contains tamanu oil and natural butters that smooth onto your lips like, well, butter! It also feels like it has an exfoliating texture to it. This is great for preparing my lips for lipsticks I might be wearing the next day! When I wake up in the morning, my lips are softer and nourished. It's like a super lip balm! It doesn't just sit on top of my lips, it actually sinks in and absorbs all the goodness! It also has a slight citrus scent that I think is amazing. When I wake up in the morning, I dab off any remaining nighttime formula and wash my face. As I am getting ready I put on the Daytime formula and allow it time to absorb into my lips. When I am all done with the rest of my makeup, I dab off any excess daytime formula and put on my lipstick of choice for the day. This stuff is amazing for us girls who use lipsticks, because it leaves us with a smooth pallet to apply them. I also find it helps to keep my lipstick from feathering. The daytime formula has an SPF of 12, so for those of you who like an SPF in your lip balm- this ones got that too! I think that Chapstick's Dual Ended Hydration Lock Day and Night is a must have for anyone that has spent some time looking for the perfect lip balm. It really is the whole package! If your a nut about lip balms, go out and try it, you won't be disappointed! I have been waiting for a lip balm to come out with a nighttime specific formula for a while now, and for Chapstick to have come out with a Dual-Ended Day and Night, I was even more impressed and excited! This lip balm has definitely worked better for me than many of the others that I have tried! There is also another version which is called Moisturize and Renew, I haven;t tried this one yet- but, if I do you beauty's will be the first to know what I think! This will be on my re-purchase list! If your interested in grabbing one of these nifty lip balms, I'll link a coupon in The Product Princess Facebook page- so go check it out! Have you tried Chapstick Dual Ended Hydration Lock? Did you love it? Hate it? Do you have a different lip balm that you think everyone should be using? I wanna hear about your experiences! Leave me a comment below! I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own. Hey Beauty's! Today we are going to be talking about my favorite blush of the minute! I am so very excited about this! I actually recorded this to be my first video, but the quality was awful guys- I filmed it too late in the day and there are a few other things I wasn't happy with. I realize that it doesn't have to be perfect, but I think my self esteem is getting in the way here. Anyway- I will be coming out with my first video with a goal day of next Friday (Oct. 3rd). So, let's get back to the fun part! I have been obsessed with this blush for over a month now- and it is an on point dupe for Nars Orgasm. If you haven't heard of Nars Orgasm, it is an amazing blush that is great on all skin tones- and retails for about $30 at Sephora. The blush that I have been using is Milani Baked Blush in 05 Luminoso. Guys, this blush is beautiful! I cannot get over it! It is $8.49 at CVS- which is a fraction of the cost of Nars, and CVS has buy one get one 50% off sales on Milani products constantly! I was so excited I picked this up because I have been looking for a dupe for Nars Orgasm for quite some time. Milani Luminoso gives your face that bright look, it makes you look awake and ready to take on the day. It has a subtle sheen, so it can be worn sheer- or built up to be worn more opaque. This is also great because that means it can be worn on a variety of skin shades and tones without problem. It is a gorgeous peachy pink that is just as luminous as it's name! I am just in love with it! Now, it say's that Luminoso can be used to shape, contour and highlight- personally I wouldn't use anything this luminous to contour, but I love how it looks on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. I have said it before but, I am a huge fan of that "bright and awake" look, and Milani's Luminoso definitely achieves that for me! I have been more and more getting into Milani, they have some amazing products! I totally recommend you guys going to check this out, I know you will not be disappointed! This will for sure be a repurchase for me! Have you tried Milani's Luminoso or Nars Orgasm? Do you love them? Have you tried any Milani products? I wanna hear about! Leave me a comment! Hey Beauty's!
Recently I got the chance to try out Skintimate's Moisturizing Mandarin Burst Shave Gel. Let me tell you, I am not one to use shaving cream- I found my shaving routine years ago and it has been the same since- water, soap, razor, period. Whelp, I suppose it was time for a revamp because when I tried Skintimate again for the first time in years, it totally changed my opinion! My legs are silky smooth and stay that way for three days- just from switching to Skintimate from soap! I also found out why I had been going through so many expensive razor heads! The soap was gunking them up, and fast- with Skintimate Shave Gel my razors last far longer (about 6 uses) and I haven't gotten one nick because of a dull blade. The Skintimate Shave Gel rinses clean off my razor, leaving no residue behind- where as with soap it sticks to the blades, building up and ruining your razor! I am getting a closer shave than ever and I am so happy! The scent of this specific Skintimate Shave Gel is 'Mandarin Burst', and it smells so juicy and fresh! I just love a juicy shower scent! It's uplifting and leaves my legs feeling so moisturized! I have zero razor burn and my legs are soft and smooth to the touch. I am also spending a ton less time in the shower- Skintimate Shave Gel let's me shave quickly and more efficiently so I'm not leaving the shower with patchy legs. Less time spent in the shower equals more time to perfect my makeup, so I'm all for it! So all in all, I am happy switching up my shaving routine. I have saved myself valuable time and effort- apparently this is something that should have been re-evaluated a long time ago, but let's not dwell! Skintimate Shave Gel will be on my shopping list from now on! What do you guy's use to shave? Do you have a fave? I wanna hear about it! Comment below! Thanks to Crowdtap for letting me try out Skintimate! Hey beauty's!

Today I'm going to be talking about eye liner- what products I use and what techniques I utilize. L'Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H in Blackest Black is my go to liner. It stays put all day and all night, I never have to reapply. It's highly pigmented and comes in a variety of colors. I use it to line my eyes normally above the lashes. I like a dramatic look because I love to play up my eyes so my line tends to be a thick one! I also use JULEP's Kajal Eye Glider in Carbon Black and Brown Shimmer for tightlining. Now, if your not familiar with tightlining, let me tell you what it's about- because I really think it's just about the greatest thing in the world! It can totally change your whole look and it literally takes seconds to do! Tightlining is basically lining the area where the lashes grow. I gently pull up my upper lid and in light feather like strokes, I line under my lashes to fill in any gaps between them. I don't go all the way to the inner corner of my eye, I just go as far as my lashes do. I think it looks more natural that way, but if you like it- go ahead! This really adds thickness and volume to your lashes, it really is crazy how much of a difference this makes! I think it's easiest to tightline before you do anything else to your eye, just so your not smudging your shadow. Now, Tightlining is not to be confused with lining your waterline which is lining the inner rim of your eye- the spot between your lash line and actual eye ball. I personally don't line my upper waterline, I do however line my lower waterline with a white liner- I use NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. It really makes my eye look more open and gives me that bright/awake look that I love so much! To line my waterline, I lay my finger horizontally under my eye and push in just a bit, so I'm not pulling down on my lid. Pulling at the the area around our eyes can result in the loss of elasticity in them, and we don't want that! So, laying your finger underneath your eye will make you lower lid sort of pop out a bit, take your liner and line the inner rim- again here, I don't go all the way to the inner corner because I don't like to line over m,y tear duct, but if you like the look you get, go ahead and do it! Keep in mind if you have small eyes and you line both upper and lower waterlines with black, it will make your eyes look smaller, using a lighter color on the lower waterline will make your eye's open up. I have big eyes, but I use white because I love the awake look I get. You could use a nude or really any color you'd like! With tightlining and waterlining you don't really want a liquid liner because the area is prone to smudging as it is, and fluid or liquid liner will smear. Kohl liner is great, it's what I use, it's very soft and tends to set quickly which is what you want. Experiment to find out what works best for you. There really are so many things you could do with these methods combined. Youtube has great tutorials that you could check out to get a better idea of what techniques there are and what liners your could use. I use the ones above, but there are literally thousands of liner products out there to choose from! Do you tightline or waterline? I wanna know what your techniques are! Leave me a comment below! Hey Beauty's!
Tonight we're talking about Skinny Teatox Night Time Tea. I really like the Night Time Tea. It's a bit different than the Day Time Tea. It isn't as flavorful as the and it's very distinct in taste. Now, this is the colon cleanse so it does taste stronger. It tastes like a white tea, just like their website notes. I added just a little bit of honey as I have been doing with the Day Time Tea I truly am at a loss as for how to describe exactly how the Night Time Tea tastes! Just believe me when I say it's good! Like I said in an earlier post, you drink the Night Time Tea every other night and the Day Time Tea every morning. I have definitely noticed a change in my energy! So, that's pretty much all I have noticed in change thus far, but I'm only 4 days into my teatox- so we'll see as time goes on! Have you tied Skinny Teatox- or any teatox? I wanna hear about you experience in the comments below! Hey Beauty's!
I'm just doing a quick check-in to let you guys know my initial thoughts on the flavor and taste of Skinny Teatox! So, the version I got is not the Skinny Teatox Mint- it's the original. The Original Skinny Teatox has a definite chamomile flavor- mostly because there is chamomile in it, so there's that... I really like it- it's very light in flavor and it's nice to sit with a warm cup of in the morning. Now, this is a flavor review on the morning tea only- I haven't had the evening tea yet, I will be trying that for the first time tonight! You drink the morning tea everyday, and the evening tea every other day. So, tonight is J's birthday and we're going out to the drive-in's, so sorry about the rushed entry! I will be back tomorrow with the flavor review on the evening tea- have a good night everyone! I wanna hear your thoughts on Skinny Teatox- or any teatox you've tried! Leave me a comment down below! |
